The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH) learned with "much sadness and pain" the news of the death of Dr. Robert Joseph [victim of Covid-19], Vice-Rector of the Episcopal University of Haiti (UNEPH) and former dean of the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV).
"[...] His disappearance is a huge loss for the Episcopal University of Haiti and the entire Haitian university system. The Rectorate of the UEH bows before his remains and presents its warmest sympathies to his grieving family, to the Rector Lucien Jean-Bernard and to the whole community of the UNEPH, to his former colleagues and students of the FAMV, to his colleagues from the Conference of Rectors and Presidents of Haitian Universities and Higher Education Institutions (CORPUHA), to relatives and friends affected by this unexpected bereavement."
