iciHaiti - Qatar 2022 : Our Grenadiers settle in Providenciales
Thursday June 3 after a preparation camp in Punta Cana https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33784-haiti-football-training-camp-among-the-dominicans-for-our-grenadiers.html, our Grenadiers left the Dominican Republic aboard a private Haitian company Sunrise Airways plane bound for Providenciales, the 3rd largest island in the Caicos Islands archipelago, dependent on the British overseas territory of the Turks and Caicos. This trip of the Grenadiers is part of the 1st phase of the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in the Concacaf zone, with a view to facing this Saturday, June 5, 2021, the selection of the best players of the Turks and Caicos Islands on the lawn of the TCIFA National stadium. Friday June 4, our Grenadiers ate their breakfast between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., before their Covid-19 tests. Then a video session at 11:15 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by a field reconnaissance and a training session between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Let's remind that the Haitian Selection, led by Jean Jacques Pierre, is at an important crossroads for its future in the concert of nations with two matches against Turk & Caicos and Nicaragua on June 8 at the Sylvio Cator Stadium in Port-au- Prince, with the aim of taking first place in Group E and qualifying to play l (12 and 15 June) against the winner of Group B, possibly Canada or Suriname and to envisage the final octagonal with fourteen matches, 7 go and 7 return during the FIFA windows for the months of September, October, November 2021 and January and March 2022.
