Saturday, May 8, in the locality of Marché Cana (commune of Mirebalais) Patrix Sévère, the Minister of Agriculture, as part of a batch of equipment of about twenty heavy machines that will be distributed in the next days, handed to Julio Adam Administrator of the Communal Section of Gascony the key to a brand new 92 HP tractor fitted with a plow and a Harrow.

This key handover ceremony took place in the presence of Tholinio Daniel, Chairman of the Board of the Communal Section, Marc-Edouard Dieujuste, Director of Agricultural Infrastructures and several agricultural producers in the area.

In his intervention, Minister Sévère stressed that this agricultural equipment will contribute, among other things, to the plowing of several hundred hectares of land in this locality and to produce more wealth in order to improve the living conditions and food security of the region. population of the area.

For his part, Julio Adam, after thanking President Moïse and Minister Sévère, renewed his commitment to work alongside the Government to support the population who live mainly on agriculture, convinced that this equipment will have a great social impact and economic impact on its community.
