Tuesday April 20, 2021, as part of the Government's efforts to fight against insecurity and prolonged preventive detention, Rockfeller Vincent, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, was on an official tour in the department of Grand'Anse.

At the Departmental Directorate of the National Police of Haiti, he spoke with executives and agents, and motivated them to fight insecurity with the utmost rigor.

Then, he went to the prosecutor's office in the jurisdiction to assess the work of the Government Commissioner and his deputies.

Subsequently, Minister Vincent visited the office of the Dean of the Court of First Instance to discuss the resumption of judicial activities.

Finally, the Minister went to Jérémie prison as part of the fight against prolonged preventive detention and to see for himself the conditions of detention of detainees.

As part of the Government’s efforts to combat insecurity and prolonged preventive detention.
