iciHaiti - Politic : PM Jouthe discusses sustainable jobs with ADIH 29/03/2021 11:21:57
Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe, met with the Association of Industries of Haiti (ADIH) to learn in particular about the bottlenecks faced by the Association. He considered that the continuous improvement of the public-private partnership is an essential condition for the creation of sustainable jobs and the socio-economic progress of the country.
During this meeting, major resolutions were adopted by the Head of Government in order to attract more private investment for the benefit of Haitians and encourage local entrepreneurs to export. For this he advocates the stabilization of the exchange rate; the expansion of the CODEVI free border zone (Ounaminthe) with an incentive return on the advantages linked to the investment.
At the same time, Jouthe reassured the main representatives of ADIH on "the Government's unwavering commitment to work to restore a security environment, conducive to investment and the business climate, vectors of jobs and growth. "
