iciHaiti - Obituary : Words of sympathy from the Rectorate of the UEH
In a note Fritz Deshommes, the Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH) said to have learned with "deep sadness" the news of the death of Professor Audalbert Bien-Aimé, President of the Management Board of the Henry Christophe Campus of Limonade in the early hours of Tuesday March 3, 2021.

"Professor Bien-Aimé, holder of a diploma of Engineer-Agronomist from the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) of the UEH and doctor in Animal Zootechnics and Nutrition from the University of Sciences and Techniques du Languedoc, from Montpellier (France) was a man of good business and a great ability to listen, he trained several generations of engineer-Agronomists and researchers during more than thirty years of teaching at FAMV. He has held important administrative positions, including that of Director of the Department of Animal Production, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs of the FAMV. And from 2015 until his departure, he managed the Henry Christophe Campus of the UEH in Limonade as Chairman of the Management Board of this entity.

At the same time, he was a member of the UEH Reform Commission, member of the COVID-19 Remedies Evaluation Jury, member of the Scientific Council, principal or associate researcher in the framework of several research projects, among others.

The Rectorate welcomes the departure of a brilliant professor, of great simplicity and profound wisdom, who has devoted most of his professional career to the service of the State University of Haiti. Professor Audalbert Bien-Aimé has always demonstrated conviction, integrity, discernment, rigor and above all an unwavering commitment to his Alma Mater.

The UEH Rectorate expresses its sympathies and solidarity to his family, colleagues, friends, the FAMV and CHC-UEHL communities and to all those affected by this completely unexpected death."
