Sunday morning February 28, the pediatrician Ernst Paddy (63) from Gonaïves, was shot dead in front of his clinic located in Chemin des Dalles with a bullet to the head by unidentified individuals after the failure of what looks like an attempted kidnapping.

The tragedy occurred while Dr. Paddy was in his vehicle and a person accompanying him had come out to open the clinic gate.

Divisional Inspector Gary Desrosiers, Spokesman for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) awaits the results of the investigation to know the exact circumstances of this assassination in order to deliver an official version, no witness having wanted to make a statement according to Justice of the Peace Lionel Dragon.
