On Friday afternoon, January 22, 19 illegal migrants of Haitian origin disembarked near Harvey Oyer Park in Boynton Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) announced.

US Customs and Border Protection officers supported by the Police and with the help of the PBSO quickly arrested the illegal immigrants (10 men and 9 women) whom they handed over to the State Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the necessary follow-up.

According to Teri Barbera Spokesman for PBSO, the Haitians arrived aboard an unidentified boat which left the area heading east, attempts to locate the boat failed and that it was last seen heading east out of the bay back to the ocean.
