Saturday, December 26, in the afternoon in Cap-Haitien, unidentified armed individuals attacked at Carrefour Lachaud (3rd communal section of Petite-Anse), the divisional inspector Telfort Ferais of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), head of the Intervention Brigade (BI) in the North department who was returning from a wedding, fatally wounding him with several bullets.

These attackers stole his service weapon before leaving the place without being worried...

Seriously injured, he was rushed to hospital where he died.
