iciHaiti - France : The Consul of Haiti in Paris, multiplies the meetings with the associations of the diaspora 21/12/2020 10:56:01
Maison d'Haiti : Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Consul François Pierre welcomed a delegation from the Maison d'Haiti in Paris made up of Mrs. Roseline Dieudonné (President) and Mrs. Élsa Mainville (Vice-president). This association, founded in 1997 by Haitian doctors and intellectuals, was born out of a desire to support Haitian migrants in their integration in France and to help their brothers and sisters who are in distress on French territory. It works actively for the promotion of Haitian culture and has to its credit several achievements in areas such as: Public and cultural health, many projects of which are underway. Promoting Haitian Culture Together (PECH) : On Wednesday December 16, she received a delegation from the Association Promoting Together Haitian Culture (Promouvoir Ensemble la Culture Haïtienne - PECH) made up of Mesdames Nahomie Jean-Baptiste (President); Roseline Janvier (secretary and communications manager); Nahomie Cétoute (Coordinator and press officer) and Jean Marie Louissaint (Coordinator), who promotes Haitian culture in France and Europe through its music, gastronomy as well as teaching Creole to Haitian children born in France. Platform of Franco-Haitian Associations (PAFHA) : The same day the Consul François Pierre, received the President of the Platform of Franco-Haitian Associations (Plateforme d'Associations Franco-Haïtienne - PAFHA), Ms. Esther Saintville accompanied by Geolin Moïse, whose vocation is to bring together Haitian Associations in France and to assist members of the community in order to help the Associations to be more efficient in their relations not only with the French authorities but also with those of Haiti. Association Evolution of Haiti (EVOH) : On Thursday, December 17, Consul François Pierre met a delegation from the Evolution d'Haiti Association (Association Evolution d’Haïti - EVOH) made up of Evens Nicolas (President) who was accompanied by Ms. Claire Marie Guerre (Head of the Administration Department). This association promotes Haiti within the community through a game called "Haiti Je Connais", a digital showcase aimed at introducing Haitian children born in foreign lands to Haitian culture.
