On Saturday, President Jovenel Moïse and Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe visited the locality of Briza (Thomonde, a border commune in the Center department) to appreciate the work that a farmer, Jean Rony Gourgues aka "Ti Nail", carry out on 4 carreaux of land and handed him 2 water pumps 100 KB 16-6, pipes to lead the water to his crops and a new truck to transport the banana plants and the products that will be sold on the markets.

This visit and help follows a video of this farmer posted on social networks explaining his work already done, the reason that pushed him to plant bananas and his difficulties. It was following this video that the Executive decided to visit him and respond to his requests to help him move forward and allow him to employ people in the region.

"Here is the example of a Haitian who decided to get his message across without 'kraze brize', without blocking the streets, without saying 'live' or 'down'. When the population speaks, Jovenel Moïse will hear and the State will act," said Moïse
