Friday in a note, the Embassy of Haiti in Washington gives a formal denial to the allegations suggesting the disappearance of a large sum of money coming from the receipts of the Consulates of Haiti.
"The diplomatic mission is all the more surprised to read that its administrator allegedly accused a former official to whom this amount would have been transferred. The Embassy of Haiti strongly condemns the publication of this baseless information, the sole purpose of which is to discredit the Administration of this diplomatic mission."
