iciHaiti - Cap-Haïtien / Jacmel : Training in Cultural Management
As part of the "Action for the Strengthening of Haitian Cultural Organizations" (AROCH) program implemented by the Haiti Jazz and Caracoli Foundation, with funding from the European Union, two training courses in cultural management were given in Cap Haitien and in Jacmel.

During 3 days 82 people representing more than 60 institutions and organizations based in Cap Haitien and Jacmel participated in these trainings which focused on the organization of cultural events. These trainings have addressed many topics including : production of cultural event, administrative and financial management as well as communication and allowed to share experiences and transmit tools in order to systematize and improve the achievements of each participant according to his own goals.

The last day of each of these training sessions ended with a networking activity bringing together some forty personalities involved in the cultural sector. Mini-cultural event in its own right, this networking activity gave rise to brief presentations on general themes ("Balnce of the 350th anniversary of the city of Cap Haitien" by Mr. Emile Eyma of the Société capoise d'Histoire and "Presentation of the logo of Jacmel, creative city" by Mr. Jean Elie Gilles of the South-East Public University in Jacme, and the presentation of the projects carried out by the Alliances Françaises with the support of the AROCH program, namely "Festival Cap en Scène" and "Jacmel Talents".
