iciHaiti - Sports : Delmas celebrates the 40 years of the Dadadou Sports Center 01/10/2020 11:14:41
In the presence of Ronald Gérard D'Mezard, the Minister of Youth and Sports, members of his cabinet, of its Director General, Mario Florvil and of a former Minister, Edwin Charles, more senior members of the institution and members of the Committee for the 40th anniversary of the Dadadou Center, was held on this occasion, a thanksgiving mass was celebrated by Father Jean Louis at St Yves church. During his speech, the Director of the Dadadou Center, Gilbert Charléus, praised the dynamism of the Minister who took the opportunity to announce the renovation work of the Center. In the opinion of the authorities, the Dadadou Sports Center needs to be rethought. The three dilapidated football and basketball fields need to be repaired. As part of the 40 years of the Dadadou Center, sports activities will take place from November 15 to December 15, 2020, Remember that Dadadou was the pseudo of André Dieudonné Vieux, who was a great footballer, playing in the Hatuey Bacadi and Aigle Noir teams, from 1951.
