It is in this capacity and within the framework of the 350 years of the Foundation of the city of Cap Haitien that Philippe Bayard, the CEO and founder of Sunrise Airways, was awarded the past week by Myriam Jean, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, with a plaque of Honor and Merit which rewards the company for "its invaluable contribution to the tourism development of the northern region of Haiti".
