The divisional inspector, Gary Desrosiers, Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) made an assessment of the operations of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) and other structures of the PNH for the period, running from July 20, 2020 to August 6.

Summary of the results :
3 rowboats https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-31435-icihaiti-contraband-seizure-of-rowboats-in-saint-louis-du-sud.html , 5 vehicles; 4 firearms; 247 ammunition of different calibers seized and 2.9 kg of cocaine were seized.

About twenty arrests were made on various counts including, among others : illegal importation of ammunition, drug trafficking, arson, homicide, murder, kidnapping, rape and sexual assault on minors...

Gary Desrosiers specified that among the individuals arrested was: Sévère Joseph aka "Gran Moun" Gang leader "Baz 17 euros" operating in Nan Rémy a locality of the commune of Croix des Bouquets https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-31375-icihaiti-justice-arrest-of-a-powerful-gang-leader.html ;

Joseph Favilien or Joseph Phavelien, involved in a dozen kidnappings followed by kidnapping for ransom;

Anius Alcé arrested on warrant for kidnapping for ransom on the Notary Romain Michel Pierre Claude;

Nadège Dabouzie arrested for mistreating a 5-year-old child. Among the charges is that of intentionally burning a child's hands with boiling oil...
