iciHaiti - Jacmel : The city names 3 streets after 3 jacméliens
Friday during a ceremony at the City Hall of Jacmel, the Municipal Council led by Mayor Marky Kessa, named 3 streets after the names of three native Jacmelians in the presence of representatives of the family of the respective deceased : Maurice Cadet (Writers, poet and teacher), Jacques Khawly (mayor and industrialist) and Jacques Jean-Pierre (radio man) are the names attributed to three streets of Jacmel.

In the conference hall of the Town Hall where the ceremony was taking place, a letter from the Cadet family thanked the members of the council for their recognition of the missing poet.

For her part, the widow Khawly praised the initiative by highlighting the fact that it was this cartel that after fifteen years had the noble idea of "resuscitating" of her late husband. A sister of Jacques Jean-Pierre attended moved the tribute ceremony.
