iciHaiti - Politic : Videoconference between Jovenel Moïse and Danilo Medina

President Jovenel Moïse accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Claude Joseph met this week by videoconference with his Dominican counterpart Danilo Medina who was accompanied by the Spokesperson and Director General of Government Communication Roberto Rodríguez Marchena.
During this virtual meeting, the two Heads of State discussed in particular the treatment of Covid-19 in the two countries, border issues and trade.
Jovenel Moïse said he had during this meeting "very fruitful discussions with Danilo Medina on the harmonization of the interventions of the two countries against Covid-19."
Remember that earlier this month the Foreign Ministers Claude Joeph (Haiti) Miguel Vargas Maldonado (RD) also organized a videoconference https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-30734-icihaiti-dr-videoconference-between-the-haitian-and-dominican-chancellors.html to discuss the need for the two countries to work together to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic on the island.
