The American Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti), the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and the Organization of American States (OAS) join forces with the municipality of Delmas, the commune most affected by Covid -19 in an awareness campaign to mitigate the spread of the disease.
Through this campaign, we will work with the Scouts of Haiti to raise residents’ awareness of COVID-19 and knowledge of steps they can take to stop its spread. As part of awareness-raising efforts, PADF sponsored the music video “Lave Men Nou” with singer BIC, to remind us of the simple actions that can save lives: washing hands, wearing masks, and maintaining physical distance. At the commune-wide level, PADF is also working to improve sanitation by cleaning streets and rehabilitating sanitary facilities with the sanitation company SANCO.
