Find out more about Ernst St Rome : Ernst St Rome grew up at Carrefour. He was initiated very early into the artistic disciplines by his father the painter Gérard St Rome, then by frequenting artists, such as Viviane Gauthier for dance, Micheline Laudun Denis and Alzire Rocourt for singing, Jean René Jérôme and Jacques Valbrun for painting, the latter introduces him to prestidigitation. In 1986, he created his first string puppet "Ti Boss" with which he made street entertainment. Subsequently, he created other characters who draw their source from the Haitian imagination. He collaborated in the staging with Lorraine Mangonès and Syto Cavé and staged himself several puppet shows of Haitian literary and theatrical heritage, including his favorite work La famille des Pitite Caille by Justin Lhérisson, which he adapted in 2009 with hand puppets. He followed a staging course with Catherine Boskovitch and participated in various residences in Canada, Guadeloupe, Belgium and Switzerland. After the 2010 earthquake, he founded the Company "Au Fil du Temps". He was a special guest at the 13th Quatre Chemins Festival in 2016 in tribute to his puppeteer career.
