iciHaiti - Education : Launch of the Master of didactics of French in Creole-speaking environment 12/03/2020 09:43:20
In his intervention, Ambassador Gomez recalled that "the French language is deeply linked to Haitian identity. Supporting and promoting its teaching alongside Creole is one of the priorities of French cooperation in Haiti." Note that this Master benefits from France with financial support and the mobilization of technical experts. It has a double objective : to contribute to quality training for French teachers in Haiti and to build up a pool of doctoral students, future teachers or researchers, essential for university research in the field of French in Haiti. It is part of a larger initiative called "For a teaching of French renewed in Haiti" (PERFH) which aims to support the training of teachers from primary to university. Recall that through, in particular, scholarship programs and missions of high-level professors, French cooperation actively contributes to developing exchanges between French universities, the State University of Haiti and its École Normale Supérieure.
