All local and international partners during this fortnight, which is a space for gathering, exchanges between peoples in the political, cultural, scientific and technical fields, offer quality activities to the Haitian community: competitions, conferences, exhibitions, film screenings, training workshops, days of sharing and cultural discovery that will be carried out in the metropolitan region and in several provincial cities. Micronouvelles competition in French : The theme of the micronouvelles on Twitter is My neighborhood, the world". It is intended for students regularly enrolled in an AUF member institution in Haiti. Video competition : The mobile video contest around the theme "Inventing a sustainable future!" "Is intended for students regularly enrolled at an AUF member institution worldwide. Videos must be shot and edited with a mobile phone. Chat : As part of this fortnight, the AUF-Caribbean organizes on March 19 at 10:00 am in partnership with the Collège Saint Louis de Bourdon, the Rotary of Pétion Ville and "Elles bougent", a sharing workshop involving women engineers and scientists with a remarkable and inspiring journey in order to destroy the clichés forged around engineering trades, traditionally attributed to the male sex. Training on the use of French-speaking online resources : The AUF's Caribbean Regional Directorate, through its French-speaking Digital Campus in Port-au-Prince, is organizing a training workshop on the Methodology for the Search for Scientific and Technical Information (MERIST) and access to French-speaking databases, from March 23 to 25, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Alliance Française des Gonaïves, located at rue Fabre Geffrard.
