iciHaiti - Invitation : Chat «What is coronavirus ?
Wednesday 12, at Martissant Park, from 2h00 pm, the Rights Health Program of the Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL, Fondasyon Konesans ak Libète) will hold, with the community of Martissant, Multipurpose Community Health Agents and volunteers from program, a talk on the theme "What is coronavirus ? How to protect yourself ?"

Dr. Archange Convington Duvergé, a health specialist from the Hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH), assigned to the Cardinal Léger Hospital of Léogâne and the Hospital of the Dame-Marienne Community , will be present to share information related to this epidemic caused by the coronavirus which rages mainly in the province of Hubei in China and which has already caused 1,018 deaths and contaminated 43,138 people (cases confirmed in laboratory dated Tuesday February 11, 2020).

"This epidemic is already killing more than hundreds of people worldwide, this information must be shared with the population of the neighborhood," insisted the coordinator of the Health Rights project.

Eddy Robinson, coordinator of the Health Law project indicated the importance of sharing this information with the population and indicated that Dolney Marie Ange, Student in medical sciences (Level 4) at the Lumière University, also in internship in internal medicine at the Saint Michel de Jacmel hospital, will be the moderator.

For the past several years, the Health Rights program has been promoting the learning of information that meets the population's health needs and in order to prevent and protect the population from any possible epidemic.
