iciHaiti - Social : Memoranda of understanding between FAES and community leaders
The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) signed two memoranda of understanding this week with two groups of community leaders. A first group from Croix-des-Bossales, from Delmas 30-A, Delmas 31, Cité aux Cayes, Street Saint Martin, Solino and a second group from the neighborhoods of Belekou, Haut Bel-Air, Delmas 2, Delmas 4 , Delmas 13, Delmas 32 and Petite place Cazeau.

The objective of these 2 agreements is to establish a partnership between FAES and the contracting parties in order to promote the achievement of their common objectives in the fight against hunger in difficult environments by providing food support to beneficiaries.

This support, which consists of providing them with hot meals daily for a small fee, will allow operators to have the means necessary for the sustainability of community restaurants.

These two partnership agreements, which will last three months each, are not renewable by tacit agreement. They are part of the community restaurant project of the "Kore Pèp" social program to rescue vulnerable populations in difficult neighborhoods and at the same time create income-generating activities in disadvantaged communities in Haiti.
