The Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA), organized at the start of the week, for the 2nd consecutive year, a tribute ceremony in honor of 10 Haitian personalities and institutions for their commitments and especially their contributions within Haitian society.

List of Laureates :

- Economist Eddy LABOSSIERE (CEO of the firm FICAUP Consulting Group.)
- Pierre CHAUVET (Tourist Agent)
- Dr Michel Archange PEAN (Haitian Aid Society for the Blind (SHAA)
- Dr Garnel MICHEL (STOP Accidents)
- Rector Jacky LUMARQUE (Quisqueya University)
- Reverend Father Claiudy DUCLERVIL (Radio Télé Soleil)

In his speech Amos CINCIR the President of FOLONHA, declared "[...] these high-merits personalities embody the creative wealth of Haitian society through their remarkable journey [...] You are a source of hope for a whole people, radiant of youth and zeal even if you sometimes feel misunderstood in your respective fields."
