On Tuesday, at the Hotel El Rancho (Pétion-ville), journalist and writer Fédia Stanislas, a native of Jérémie, very moved and delighted received the Henri Deschamps Literary Award for my novel in Creole "Konfidans". A check for 175,000 gourdes was given to the laureate of this 44th edition as well as 1,000 copies of her novel.

A novel that tells the story of a woman forced to prostitute herself, who had to undergo a forced marriage under the pressure of her family that she must at all costs feed. A story that the character Wozi tells from the prison where she was locked up after accidentally killing her husband who was constantly violating her...

By winning this prize, Fédia Stanislas joins the gallery of honor of the Prix Deschamps and obtains the right to sit on the jury for one year and decide with the other members of the 2020 Prize.

After the ceremony Fedia Stanislas, proceeded to the sale-signature of his novel "Konfidans".
