iciHaiti - Security : The President of «Kouraj» found dead
Monday, November 25, Charlot Jeudy (34), LGBTI activist (Lesbian, gay, bisexual and bisexual, transgender, intersex), a strong advocate against discrimination, stigma, exclusion and violence against Haitian homosexuals and President executive of the association "Kouraj", which carried in public space, the debate on homophobia and transphobia, was found dead in bed.

The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, RFI journalist Amélie Baron, wrote on her Twitter account "Charlot Jeudy, Haiti's most mobilized LGBT activist, was killed yesterday."

According to one of his relatives, the body of Charlot Jeudy had all the symptoms of poisoning which would strengthen the hypothesis of an assassination pending the conclusion of the investigation.

A death that revolts several human rights defenders who demand the opening of an investigation.

In a note, the Embassy of the United States in Port-au-Prince deplores the premature death of Charlot Jeudy "We sincerely regret the departure of this tireless defender of human rights and equity in Haiti and we believe that his memory will endure through the values and principles to which he has dedicated his life. We offer our sincere condolences to his friends, family and colleagues."
