iciHaiti - Lakou Kajou : An educational program in Creole for young Haitian children 18/11/2019 09:05:36 "Lakou Kajou" reflects the Haitian culture, takes into account the Haitian context and is developed by Haitian professionals. The fifteen-minute episodes present the adventures of two main characters : Tilou and Lili, sister and twin brothers who spend their time solving the problems that arise in their daily lives. 9 themes have been addressed to date in the episodes of Lakou Kajou : process (to accomplish any task), geography (of Haiti), rhythm (music and sounds), growth (of a plant), water, tools, physical exercise, heritage and transportation. Supported financially by FOKAL and the WK Kellogg Foundation, Lakou Kajou benefits from the work of a team of educators, artists, animators and audiovisual professionals (Ayitikomik and Muska Group), with the help of educational partners (InnovEd at Quisqueya University) and Blue Butterfly Collaborative, an American firm specializing in children's media.
