The Government instructed the local authorities and made arrangements with the National Port Authority and the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti and the Haitian Coast Guard, among others, to accompany this operation of humanitarian medical assistance intended to provide a variety of medical services https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29145-haiti-health-mission-in-haiti-of-the-hospital-ship-of-the-united-states-navy.html In addition, the land and air vehicles used in this operation will be secured by units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) jointly with USCGC members Kathleen Moore and USCGC Margaret Norvell. The Ministry is calling for the cooperation of everyone to ensure the smooth running of this mission. In conjunction with the other bodies concerned, the Ministry will gradually inform the population of the schedule of activities of these humanitarian services and the modalities of access, in order to allow the population to benefit as much as possible from the equipment and health care that will be provided to them.
