iciHaiti - Centre d’Art : Registration open for the second session 2019

The Centre d’Art offers courses in drawing, painting, ceramics and recovery sculpture, photography and video for all ages. Specific arts practice workshops are held throughout the year. Classes are offered in 3 to 4 month sessions and taught by Haitian or foreign artists.

Registrations are in progress for the second 2019 session and you can register until 14 September. Classes begin September 17, 2019.

The courses at the Art Center require a financial contribution to cover the payment of professors, the awarding of scholarships and the acquisition of equipment (entirely provided by the Center) with the exception of photographic and computer equipment. However, some cameras and computers may nevertheless be made available free of charge upon request and within the limits of their availability.

For each course or workshop, the Art Center foresees a number of selected fellows on application. For this second session, Full Scholarship applications will be received from August 17 to 31, 2019. The results of the deliberations of the Awards Committee will be announced as of September 4, 2019.
