iciHaiti - Politic : The Senate votes a bill on the Konpa !

On Tuesday, the Senate voted a bill devoting the month of July "month of Konpa". This bill, tabled by Senator Garcia Delva, raises the Konpa to the rank of national heritage, is an injunction to the State to found Konpa Teaching Centers and provides for the creation of a bust of Nemours Jean-Baptiste, the founder of "Konpa-Dirèk", to be exhibited on the Place Sainte Anne.
"Senator Delva's Office wishes to congratulate the senators who understood the importance of this bill and gave it a favorable vote. He took the opportunity to encourage the Chamber of Deputies to follow suit to the Senate by setting in motion the process leading to the ratification of this bill."
