During this tour she will visit her diplomatic allies : Haiti, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia. In and out, President Tsai Ing-wen and her delegation will stop over in the United States.

The purpose of this tour is to demonstrate the importance of Taiwan to its Caribbean allies and to strengthen ties of friendship with all those free and democratic countries that share the same views as Taiwan, said Li-Jey Tsao.

On 13 July, President Tsai Ing-wen will be welcomed in Haiti by her counterpart, President Jovenel Moïse. She will be the first Head of State to shake hands with President Jovenel Moïse in Haiti. During her quick visit of a few hours, she will inaugurate with her counterpart an exhibition of products from Taiwan.
