iciHaiti - CCC 2019 : Follow-up of the Caribbean Cycling Championship in Haiti
Thursday, Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth and Sports welcomed at the Diplomatic Room of the Toussaint International Airport, a delegation of the Caribbean Cycling Confederation came to continue to facilitate the organization of the Caribbean Cycling Championship (CCC) in Haiti next October.

In the presence of Yvrose Green, the Director of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and leaders of the Haitian Cycling Federation (FHC), Minister Charles, on behalf of President Jovenel Moïse and acting Minister, Jean Michel Lapin, whished the most cordial welcome to CCC President, Trevor Bailey, before reiterating the commitment of the Haitian authorities to accompany the FHC in the organization of this important international event which will gather in Port-au-Prince more than 200 runners from 26 countries.

A high-level meeting is planned between the delegation of international cycling bodies and the Interministerial Commission to coordinate the organization of the Caribbean Cycling Championship after a visit of the 100-kilometer course chosen by the HCF technicians.

The Minister Charles intends to take all the necessary steps to facilitate the conduct of the evaluation and provide all the necessary guarantees in order to allow the organization in Port-au-Prince of the CCC 2019, a major event likely to contribute to the development of the discipline in Haiti and project a positive image of the country in the eyes of the world...
