Friday, the deputy spokesman of the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPNH) Jean-Claude Benjamin confirmed that after a thorough administrative investigation, on the inspector Gabriel Faveur Désir he was recommended his dismissal of the PNH, for having been in contact several times with the Leader of Gang of the Village de Dieu, actively sought, Arnel Joseph.

Unacceptable relationships that undermine the integrity of the police institution according to an internal source of the IGPNH. It is now the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) who had arrested the inspector, Gabriel Faveur Désir and the Ministry of Justice to follow up on this file.

Since his arrest and throughout the investigation, Inspector Gabriel Faveur Désir has not stopped repeating that these contacts were limited to inquiring about a house he owned in the Village de Dieu and where lived his parents. Explanations that obviously did not convince the investigators.
