iciHaiti - Security : First social assistance on the former territory of «Ti je»

While the dismantling of the Gang of the Chief "Ti je" shot down during a clash with the National Police of Haiti (PNH) April 29 last https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27595-haiti-flash-the-dangerous-gang-leader-tije-dies-under-the-bullets-of-the-pnh.html which made reign terror in the population of the commune, the Executive begins to execute social programs for the benefit of the inhabitants of Carrefour-feuilles confirmed the Secretary of State for Communications Eddy Jackson Alexis who launched an appeal to the population of the area to continue to collaborate with the police.
On the instructions of Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health, the Fund for Economic and Social Assistance (FAES), the Medical Commission of the PNH organized a community policing activity in the area.
During this mobile clinic, more than 2,600 people of all ages received medical care, medicine, food kits and hot dishes.
