iciHaiti - Communication : Message from the professional associations of the media
As part of the International Press Freedom Day (May 3), the National Association of Haitian Media (ANMH) and the Association of Independent Media of Haiti (AMIH) took the opportunity to deliver a joint message in which they remind journalists and the media "the importance of working every day with the same rigor to continue to earn the trust of the population by disseminating verified and credible information and to continue to be the main reference in a moving reality where conventional media are no longer the only sources of information."

The ANMH and the AMIH also call on all media professionals "to do everything possible to deviate from the deviant trends that blur the image of the press when it is used as a platform for the regulation of personal interests," underlining that "the Press perceived as moral and credible power is a design based on the good reputation of its supporters and stakeholders. The press and the media must at all times be at the forefront to accompany the population and favor the defense of the common good."
