iciHaiti - Security : The Dominican army reinforces all its border posts

The commander of the Dominican Republic's army, Major General Estanislao Gonell Regalado, declared that the calm had returned to the border, after the confrontation of March 15 in the community of Carrizal Elías Piña at the height of the pyramid 181 , between Haitians and Dominican soldiers which made one victim and several wounded on the Haitian side https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27194-haiti-flash-violent-confrontation-at-the-border-between-haitians-and-dominican-soldiers.html
In addition, the General indicated that the surveillance of all the border posts had been reinforced, by members of the Corps specializing in the security of the land borders (CESFRONT) in order to avoid the repetition of acts of violence, in particular the passage of Carrizal, place of the last incidents.
