iciHaiti - Humanitarian : Food For the Poor works for a better future for Haitian communities

The NGO Food For the Poor (FFP) has been working in Haiti for more than 30 years with communities and according to their needs to make strong communities that can feed themselves, meet their basic needs while having the vision of a better future.
In 2018, FFP executed 6 community garden projects on an area of 451 hectares planted with vegetables (pepper, tomato, eggplant...), cereals (rice, maize, sorghum) and 3,600 m2 of greenhouse vegetable crops.
It also produced 143,893 seedlings (mango, avocado, moringa, citrus, breadfruit and coffee tree).
As part of the transformation projects and agricultural equipment, a casseverie was built for the installation of a cassava mill.
