iciHaiti - Crisis : The Caribbean Community concerned about the situation in Haiti

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) expresses its deep concern at the continuation of violent demonstrations in Haiti, which have resulted in loss of life and important property damage, destruction of infrastructure and great distress.
The Community calls for calm and cessation of violence, inviting all parties involved to engage in a constructive dialogue and to respect the Constitution, the rule of law and democratic processes so that problems can be solved in a peaceful atmosphere allowing the return to a state of normality.
