On Thursday, authorities unveiled the official logo of the National Carnival 2019 which will take place for the second time (1st Edition in 2014 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10613-haiti-social-national-carnival-in-gonaives-d-4.html ) in the city of Gonaïves, the City of Independence, March 3, 4 and 5, 2019 around the theme "Ann chita pale pour Ayiti". The 15 musical groups that will produce the best carnival meringue will participate in the parade of the 3 fat days at the city of independence :

Members of the Organizing Committee of the National Carnival:
President: Muscadin Jean Yves Jason (former Mayor of Port-au-Prince);
Vice President: Albert Chancy;
Secretary General: Mrs. Altagrace Hyppolite Elie;
Artistic Director: Erol Josué;
Communication Manager: Mrs. Emmelie Prophet;
Responsible for the musical entertainment: Fred Lizaire;
Artistic adviser: Yves Penel;
2nd artistic adviser: Philippe Dodard;

In a few days will be unveiled the tanks and groups selected for the parade.
