After North West and West Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action encouraged the youth of Central Plateau to unite to participate actively in the development of the country while teaching them the live together.

In addition, Minister Charles emphasized "Citizens of all ages must practice regular and safe physical activity and enjoy healthy recreation. They will gain pleasure, satisfaction, accomplishment and relaxation, while deriving many beneficial effects such as physical and psychological well-being, a better quality of life."
