Tuesday in a note, the Senator Youri Latortue notes that for some time, he is the target of a new wave of disinformation and condemns these maneuvers which aim according to him, to "discredit him to weathered and stifle the report PetroCaribe..."

Senator Latortue denies this false information and states "to be neither a shareholder nor a director of a certain firm called REPSA which appears on page 62 of the report of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of 2016 and whose a copy of which was forwarded, by his care at the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) since January 2017."

Senator Latortue recalls "this approach with the ULCC stemmed from the desire to obtain complementary actions to go beyond the limits of its powers, non-coercive" stressing that he is still "pending a reaction from this instance remained silent until today."
