iciHaiti - Social : The FOKAL recipient of the 2018 Lucienne Deschamps Humanitarian Award 18/12/2018 09:15:50
The President of the Foundation dedicated this distinction to the work of the whole team of the Foundation, which was represented at the ceremony by a delegation composed, among others, of the employees of the various programs housed at Avenue Christophe or Parc de Martissant and the Chairman of the Board Maxime D. Charles. Founded in 2010, the Lucienne Deschamps Humanitarian Award aims to honor outstanding non-profit individuals and organizations in the humanitarian field. The Prince Albert School of Monaco II, Promart and Hero Client Rescue complete the list of distinguished institutions at this edition of the Humanitarian Award. Learn more about FOKAL : The Knowledge and Freedom Foundation, created in 1995 and recognized by public utility since 2000, is a Haitian national foundation. Its mission can be summed up in three points: to promote the structures necessary for the establishment of a just, democratic and sustainable society; support people's autonomy by promoting critical thinking, responsibility, creativity and free cooperation through education, training and communication; strengthen organizational processes for active participation in the management of public affairs and the development of social, cultural and community life.
