iciHaiti - Security : Victims burned, the police will act with the last rigor
In a note Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) notes with pain and amazement the recrudescence of the practice that consists in Haiti to burn victims.

Let's recall during the month of November, several cases that scandalized the entire population : the case of the police officer of the Intervention and Law Enforcement Unit (CIMO) Durosier Jurond, on November 19 in the city center https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-26167-icihaiti-insecurity-a-cimo-agent-shot-dead.html ; That of the police officer Charles Jocelyn, in Chalon, in the Nippes, on November 21, 2018. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26206-haiti-demonstrations-a-police-officer-shot-and-thrown-on-tires-on-fire.html and that of the three customs agents Saturday, November 25 in the Malpasse police sub-station https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26214-haiti-flash-angry-mob-attacks-the-customs-of-malpasse-at-least-6-dead.html

Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) "reminds the performers and intellectual authors of these acts that such practices will not be tolerated. All units have been instructed to act with the utmost rigor against such acts. The right to life of citizens is as important as freedom of expression and equality before the law, because human rights are indivisible, whether civil or political.

An investigation is opened on each of the identified cases and the suspects will be brought to justice according to the law.

The police will act with the utmost rigor against the thugs who have committed or will commit such odious crimes. This country will not be released to bandits and criminals.

That the message be well received !"
