iciHaiti - Politic : Summary of the parliamentary week
According to the Citizen Observatory for the Institutionalization of Democracy (OCID) for the week of October 22 to 26, 2018, after more than a month of dysfunction in Parliament, 17 senators were finally able to organize a plenary session on Tuesday, October 23 during this period.

Senate
This session focused on the report of the Commission "Education and Vocational Training" on 11 objections of President Moïse around the bill on Recognition and Validation of Acquired Professional Experience. The sections of the bill concerned by the objections are: 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16 and 17.

After the adoption of the report of the Committee, the Assembly proceeded to a second reading, article by article, to the vote of the 11 articles. Unfortunately, a power cut (not the first in the past) interrupted the session in Clause 14, forcing Senate Speaker Joseph Lambert to adjourn the session and put it on hold.

Chamber of Deputies
