Fiction jury member of the 58th Monte-Carlo International Television Festival, Haitian actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, Goodwill Ambassador for Haiti, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-7812-haiti-culture-toussaint-louverture-on-cinema-screens-in-2014.html renowned for his roles in the series "Heroes", with Robert de Niro in "Joy" or in the feature film "Toussaint Louverture" declared :
"I have a feeling of abandonment of Haiti for a very long time. It's something that I can not quite understand... I have my idea, but it's hard to understand wfile that Haiti has done a lot for the world. Haiti was the first black country to have its independence. Haiti fought for the equality of the races and yet I have the impression that one has all the time trampled Haiti since its independence... It is not by chance, it is calculated..."
