The National Meteorological Center informs that "the passage of the 5th tropical wave to the south of Haiti planned for the next 36 hours, may increase instability and the possibility of rain and thunderstorms on the country, especially on the departments located in the peninsula of the South.

Daytime and local effects may favor some showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially in the departments of Grande'Anse, South, of West, Central, North Artibonite and Northwest.

For Tuesday and Wednesday, the atmosphere remains more or less wet and unstable after the passage of the Tropical Wave. Rainy activities will be reduced, but will continue to be possible in some parts of the country in the late afternoon or evening."
