Sunday, May 13th, as part of the tree season (April-May), Agronomist Talot Bertand, General Secretary of the non-profit association "Promotion for Development" (PROMODEV), proceeded to the distribution of 200 lemon seedlings to children and adolescents of the Tabernacle Baptist Church of Port-au-Prince.

Talot Bertand thanked the Agr. Pierre Brillère Pierre who explained to these children and adolescents the importance of lemon (keylime) and rapid plant propagation methods from cuttings in order to obtain the harvest of fruits in record time as well as Agr. Pierre Michard Beaujour who led the section on the preparation of the individual nursery made from plastic cans to facilitate better management of solid waste.

PROMODEV recommended that each child take good care of their seedling until the harvest, encouraging parents to help their children maintain these seedlings that will produce lemons for the whole family.
