iciHaiti - Diaspora : The First Lady in New Orleans 23/04/2018 07:39:45 In her speech Martine Moïse said "Vodou, carnival, karabinye, troubadour, blues, work songs, cooking, Creole music, Jazz, ragtime, brass band, here are among other words rich in meaning in this American city. Words that remind us the cities of Jacmel and Léogâne and the first four months of the year, the time of Carnival and Rara. Happy tercentenary in New Orleans." Following his meeting with the diaspora of Louisiana Martine Moïse said "[...] I would like to thank the Haitian community of New Orleans for this warm welcome. Your mobilization has been quite impressive. Thank you for this little time of conviviality and brotherhood without equal. Together, we must continue to infuse these beautiful dynamics. They benefit unequivocally to our dear Haiti 'Noumet Konte sou mwen, mwen konte sou nou'." IH/ iciHaiti
