Monday, U.S. Ambassador in Haiti Michèle Jeanne Sison and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Haiti (CDC - Haiti) were welcomed by officials of the Hopital Sacré-Coeur de Milot, the largest private hospital and public health provider in the North Department, which thanks to the partnership between CDC / The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and CMMB (Catholic Medical Mission Board) provides services to thousands of patients in the North.
The Ambassador visited Sacré-Coeur Hospital and her laboratory, which in addition to HIV / AIDS services also carries out tuberculosis tests.
